Shortly after the Warrington Rotary Club was founded in 1965, the Neshaminy Manor nursing home project started as an on-going project for the club.  On the first Wednesday of the month, following our regular meeting club members visit residents who are celebrating their birthdays that month. We will talk to them, sing Happy Birthday and give them a small gift.

We have added Care Bears to this project. The Care Bear is a small teddy bear with a blue t-shirt that says Rotary Care Bear-Warrington Rotary Club. The staff at Neshaminy Manor will decide who receives them that month. The bear is normally given to someone who just moved in or just needed a pick me up.

Most residents enjoy and look forward to our visit. Not sure if that is case about our singing.
