At the October 18, 2017 meeting, Warrington Rotary Charter Member Norm Leventhal, who was instrumental in the founding of the Israel Guide Dog Center, introduced his son Michael Leventhal, Executive Director of the Israel Guide Dog Center - USA. Michael gave a riveting presentation about the value of guide dogs for the blind. Asking the audience to imagine the obstacles that a blind person faces daily, he described how a guide dog provides safe travel.
